My wife and I are in our 60s and both have tattoos. I have all seven (7) of the aircraft types that I flew in the Navy, my squadron logos on one arm.
My other arm is my “fun” arm… motorcycles, etc.
My wife has tattoos of her time in Hawaii and other significant events and things of importance.
We are both highly educated and successful in life.
There’s nothing pagan or sinister about them.
Who are any of you to criticize the body art of another? It doesn’t affect you at all.
“Who are any of you to criticize the body art of another? It doesn’t affect you at all.”
It affects me when the cashier in the checkout line covered in tattoos is slower and less efficient than the non-tattooed cashiers. When we choose our line, we scan for obvious tattoos, weird face piercings, and freakish colored hair.
You shall not make any cuts on your body for the dead or tattoo yourselves: I am the Lord.
—Leviticus 19:28Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.
