Because the station down the street is busy tonight.
Has anyone wondered how this is going to affect the communist/socialist “peak hours” billing situation for customers? Are these stations going to affect rates for the whole area which normally should not? Why should everyone pay a higher rate because one of these stations happens to be in their area? Would the electric companies take advantage of the situation to gouge all customers universally?

The H3 tunnel through Oahu has massive fans in case of a fire. There is not enough electricity to power the fans and the city of Honolulu. So when they test the fans the power goes out in Honolulu. Add thousands of electric cars to the grid...
