The issue is that in any circumstance, these are minors that have no ability to engage in contracts or bodily alterations that could affect their future. This is why tattoos, piercings, etc., aren’t available to them and this precedent is pretty infallible to even the most liberal of judges. If the judge rules that this is an exception, then the floodgates open to minors being able to make the same decisions as adults.

Also, this is why Europe has abandoned trans youth as well. Furthermore, there’s evidence emerging of serious health complications from hormone treatment and there are already detransitioners that can be called as expert witnesses that will make it clear to juries how insidious this practice is. There are places like California where trying this would be difficult, but once doctors/therapists start getting hit with massive penalties/settlements, they will abandon it regardless of liberal sentiment.

The doctors that perform these surgeries or prescribe puberty blockers should lose their licenses besides finiancial penalties.

The obvious moral and ethical problems with these ‘Treatments’ make it tragic that it has become so common.

The worship of money and wealth has become a disease in this country. The idea that doctors who are supposed to ease suffering would cause suffering in a child purely for monetary gain is obscene.
