I currently pay $0.0728 [incl sales tax] per kWh as the marginal price.
The average price per kWh for a given month is way higher due to all sorts of set monthly charges.
But it’s still a great deal if I want some heat out in the garage whilst I’m working out there.
Yes,all power companies charge some kind of hookup fee which you pay even if you use no power during a particular billing period. The 5 cents I mentioned was in addition to that monthly fee.
