To determine the CO2 effects, scientists followed the life cycle of a pair of jeans that were quickly produced, shipped, worn, washed and discarded after about seven uses.I think I have worn my jeans more than 7 times. Many, many, many more times because they are bluejeans and are durable. That is one of the reasons they were made the way they are.
