Sadly, I think one of our local HEB stores is building a strip of EV charging stations. They are going to force EVs on us whether we want them or not.

No, they won’t.
It’s all going to be gone in under 10 years.
They’ll just be in debt for Trillions, and collapse.
They get massive tax incentives to put those in. I’ve seen several videos of EV folks traveling around and looking at these charging stations in shopping centers and such - where the chargers are out of order, broken, vandalized, or simply never fully operational. Doesn’t matter. A developer or business owner gets their credits for putting them in (often at not a lot of cost to them, other than lost parking spaces). If they chargers work -they get part of the profits. If the chargers break - thy don’t have to do anything to fix them. They got their tax credits and incentives already.
