Perhaps things will get bad enough, someone will take the time to be a Patriot. For real. Like 1776, where all of those leaders put their very lives on the line to create this Great Nation.

The big difference between now and 1775 and that institutions like the colonial legislatures, trade associations, militias, etc., were available to prove organized opposition. The states were supposed to provide that. But many of them are already one-party dictatorships like California and the rest are hypertrophied by fentanyl-like Federal payments, programs and big business interests that are part of the corrupt ruling class.
I say Trump is a choirboy because he better have plan B to deal with a mutinous, seditious Federal bureaucracy (including most of the military brass). So he needs to act quickly to regain control of the military and, if necessary, be ready to use MPs to arrest the criminals at DOJ, FBI, CIA, etc., that conducted sedition against him in the first term. This includes being willing to tell off the judiciary to deport illegals and pursue the previously mentioned criminals. If necessary, have them put before military tribunals for treason and then shot.
