Ben Shapiro defended his Daily Wire media company and its commitment to “free speech” following the departure of host Candace Owens.
Owens was let go by Shapiro’s The Daily Wire after months of publicly feuding with Shapiro and accusations of anti-Semitism as she criticized Israel’s conduct in the Israel-Hamas war.
In an interview with Megyn Kelly for her SiriusXM show, Kelly argued the “right likes to eat its own” and she asked whether The Daily Wire supports “free speech.”
“It has now spawned into a debate about whether The Daily Wire is pro-free speech. The accusation is you are until it comes to Israel. How do you respond?” she asked.
Shapiro argued Daily Wire is a “publisher” and not a “platform.” He implied there was more than Israel at the center of his split with Owens.
“What I will say is we have a variety of positions on Israel right now inside the Daily Wire. Matt Walsh is obviously one of the number one hosts at the Daily Wire, and he and I wildly disagree on what America’s Israel policy should be. Matt is much more of an isolationist,” he said. “He basically believes the United States has no real interest in the Middle East and thus should not be providing material supporting to anyone, including the state of Israel. Matt obviously is well within the sort of group of hosts that we have here at the Daily Wire. So clearly whatever is going on is not about Israel specifically. That’s really all I have to say about it.”

We have a Constitution and a First Amendment we can boycott Bud Light and boycott Disney and so on but there are laws across the board in “Red Republican” states and even other states banning boycotting of Israel.
The boycotters of Israel Muslims and Leftists so the makers of these laws rely on our hatred of them to limit their ability to boycott or protest Israel a nation I support.
The Constitution and its Bill of Rights are for everyone IMHO.
Genesis 12:3, "And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."
So whether or not he's approaching this topic from that standpoint, his assertion that we need to have Israel's back is a valid one.
I don't know from what standpoint Owens is coming from though. If she's saying the USA shouldn't support Israel because they're a bunch of murdering scum and she's blatantly pro-Hamas/anti-Israel, then she's wrong and needs to be corrected and hopefully shown the error of her ways. If she's just saying the USA shouldn't be involved at all and we should let them duke it out then that's whole nother issue.
But someone needs to help me in this because I don't know her mindset.
I am strongly pro-Israel. So I turn off talking heads I previously liked who come out against Israel. That’s a personal choice. Platforms that employ anti-Israel commentators will lose my attention, so employing them will have a cost.
They obviously have the right to say what they want. I have a right to tune them out. And if their views contradict the views of the platform that employs them they have the right to establish their own. YouTube makes that extremely easy.
The fact is Owens could have disagreed about support for Israel without accusing her bosses of supporting “genocide”, etc, like the unhinged lefties and terrorist supporters do. She chose not to go down that path, and the results were predictable.

False. There are no such laws.
There are laws that ban state funds going to institutions that decide to engage in rogue diplomacy and boycott Israel. But that’s not what you are claiming.

People receiving government funds are being required to sign statements that they will not boycott Israel that has led to legal challenges.
I could sign one of those statements, but others may feel differently.
Not a fan of Shapiro. But his wife and children are considered Jews and Israeli. He has no obligation to suck up to Jew-haters of any kind. America’s Jew-hate will force him to Israel anyway.
I have sampled Shapiro, he has the same problem as Levin. Smart, but an irritating manner. The same goes for Jovan Pulitzer, excellent info, but a delivery to kill my ears. I would rather read.
I can’t listen as fast as Ben Shapiro talks.
Israel does not exist, it is a nation formed by the UN. Israel will be blessing because of Jeshua the Messiah. IT IS FINISHED. I see that the modern nation of Israel will be ground zero for punishment of some form. Like the US, where most of the true Hebrews/Northern Tribes are now, along with Western Europe will get ours too.

Just 4 years ago, she laughed as Joe Rogan ridiculed a friend of hers for "actually believing Jesus is the Son of God." Now she proclaims "Christ is King" as a Tweet flex against Shapiro.
Everything she says is a lie. She is a despicable grifter.
Ben’s is insufferable.
But, Dailywire is his business. He can hire and fire at will.
Don’t like the rules? Quit.
Disagree with how the Boss is doing things? Quit.
There is no Free Speech when someone else is paying you.

The governor of Texas advocated for a law to prevent college students from saying mean things to Jewish students.
These same college students can take official classes at state funded institutions which detail the evils of “whiteness” and white people.
I really wish people would wake up and see what is going on.
When Yahuah gathers all of the tribes into the land of Israel? Judah is but one tribe. There are MANY tribes spread all around the globe. Most of the Hebrews are lost, even to themselves, not knowing their heritage.
