I have witnessed people dying from a dog merely jumping on them.

People like this guy delivering food while packing a pistol? Such feeble people should not be doing such a job.

No one invited onto private property is required to risk his life over the irresponsibility of the property owner.

Let us be serious.

Unless this guy laid down on the ground and allowed the dog to rip his throat out, it is highly unlikely that this dog represented any sort of "risk his life" scenario to this guy.

The worst he probably could have faced was several bites, *IF* the dog was prone to biting. Many dogs just bark and snarl.

Often with troublesome dogs, there is a record of past biting of people. Has any such information come out regarding this animal?

OK, I suggest you start by valuing the Life of a Human delivery person, gainfully employed in a legal, necessary and constructive occupation, over that of an illegally free running, uncontrolled, unsupervised, improperly trained, Dog.

I have witnessed a whole bunch of people packing a pistol while going about their legal, necessary and constructive occupation on private and public property, and never had any problem with any of 'em.

I have had problems with unemployed bums packing pistols and I know the difference. Dogs do not.

The idea that "Such feeble people should not be doing such a job." is absolute arrogance.

I have witnessed two fully able strong men die instantly, falling from a standing position on the ground where they were standing.

It is perfectly reasonable for an ordinary delivery man to consider a loose dog to be a threat to his life.

Really? The dog is large enough to bite someone in the balls. The dog is also large enough to bite and cut the femoral artery.
