Bird Flu? 100 times worse? Well so far only for the chickens. News story, ABC I think, just last night reported about a Midwest egg farmer having to kill two million chickens——because one of his workers caught the flu from a sick cow and then apparently hugged a bird. That seems like some stoopid stuff right thar. They claim, in the same breath, that the eggs don’t transmit the stuff. Seems like it would be a good idea to, maybe, spread things out, keep the birds five feet apart, put masks on their peckers, don’t let them go to restuarants, and maybe don’t let them have family reunions?
