My wife is sensitive to some of the chemicals used in plasticware, so we got rid of nearly all of that and transitioned to glass with closable lids.

I prefer glass, too. But I need a couple of those two gallon bowls for my homemade dog food. I don’t want to mess will two gallon glass bowls. Or, now that I think about it, I should just get some lids for 8qt stainless mixing bowls.
