I’ve a feeling that these legalization deals are a hosing for the citizenry. Minor point is that the age reinforces the idea that an adult old enough to perform military service, enter contracts and vote can have rights restricted or taken. If you make 21 the magic age for weed/alcohol/etc…then it’s also the age when you should also gain those other rights/responsibilities for those other things.
Second, major point: AFAIK, each of these legalization states requires the swipe of a drivers license to make this purchase and you can bet that is logged/recorded. There may not be an immediate flag or rejection of a form 4473 (firearm transaction), but you can bet your azz that if you are square pegging a political round hole in the future that someone is going to dig that up and hold it over buyers…
True, most of my family, friends and myself hadn’t even heard that this was on the ballot until I came across it by reading that the Fla. Supreme Court ruled the measure meets Florida legal requirements and can stay on the November ballot. Not a peep out of the state politicians about this measure. It may be early but have not seen any ads for or against it on any of the media.
The original push to legalize mj use was heavily funded by Soros.
MJ is legal here. People are getting more stupid and crazy. I have an article describing what happens to the brains of habitual mj users. It is not harmless, not “God’s gift” or anything of the kind. And pretty much every “hard” drug user started off with weed. I’ll post it tomorrow.
If, when Trump is re-elected, he were to draft all illegal aliens, I bet those who arrived in the last four years would run home.
They aren’t here to help; they are here to take.
