Pentagon press secretary Major General Pat Ryder provided the following reading:
Defense Secretary Lloyd J. Austin III spoke today with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant to discuss pressing regional threats and reiterated the unwavering support of the United States for the defense of Israel. Secretary Austin made it clear that Israel can count on the full support of the United States to defend Israel against any attacks by Iran and its regional affiliates.
The Israeli War Cabinet has just Approved a Motion to allow Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant, and Minister Benny Gantz to decide on the Israeli Response to tonight’s Iranian Attack.

The vast majority of the missiles launched from Iran were intercepted outside the borders of the State of Israel
A short time ago, dozens of launches of surface-to-surface missiles were detected that made their way from Iran to the country’s territory.
The air defense fighters successfully intercepted using the “Arrow” system and, together with the strategic partner countries, most of the launches before they crossed the territory of the country.
