Canned creamed corn may just contain that and IMO is nasty. Fresh made off-the-cob creamed corn is rocking.
I remember as a kid whenever we had some type of food drive the poor people got cans of creamed corn my parents accidentally bought instead of regular corn. It might be edible as an ingredient in some larger dish, but it was nasty, inedible slop by itself. I have no idea how they accidentally bought it so often. Could they not see the warning on the label: “Creamed”?
Yep, but most never have ever experienced it, hell they figure it comes out of a can...
