How long will it take to clear the river of the remains of the bridge? While the ships can be diverted to Norfolk, Newark, etc., in the interim, the delay should not be too long, especially since this is an election year and Biden is down in the polls.

Baltimore has a lot of heavy marine equipment. Yet, some additonal heavy lift may come up the Chesapeake Bay.

Some of that, is probably underway, including work crews.

After respects for the lost, maybe 1 week should pass.

Some of the choices depend upon, how structures will be hauled (floated) away.

And major choices - I favor Phase I:

Clear the Lane, as Phase I.

Clear the Remainder, as Phase II

You could bring in several barges and park debris on them, and move all that material to a separate location, instead of getting too much into the science of investigation, on scene.

There is going to be some compromise between investigation and moving pieces - particularly for Phase II.

The bow of the MV Dali, is hung up on top of where the bridge support was.

The lane will probably be cleared soon. MV Dali and the rest, will take much longer.

I guess, that the lane could be cleared before the end of April.
