TurboTax has been running ads to get people to use them for their income tax returns. The actor pretending to be their tax expert is black. Of course that’s in line with the disproportionate number of “people of color” in commercials, but I wonder if that discourages people of no color from using TurboTax.

While I don’t “boycott” every company using a disproportionate number of blacks on commercials...that’s just not possible...I do turn off the volume during commercials. I then turn to my phone to continue reading something or playing a game. The main point of a commercial is to have customer “eyes & ears” on the TV screen...but they lose that with me. I guess it’s possible to make a list of the offending companies and boycott them, or even lodge a written complaint online or via USPS, but my life is getting shorter each day. I won’t use my remaining time to raise Cain with them. So, their loss of my “eyes & ears” will have to do.

Now, inept DEI doctors is a different matter, and I will resist that in a vocal manner.
