California is still beautiful. But now it's infested with crappy and woke people, including many of my relatives. I mourn for the place of my birth and my ancestors.
I’m glad my time their was when there was still some sanity. I lived among the salt of the earth in the big valley and only visited the places of my California dreaming. Last time I was there was the late nineties for my honeymoon to show my wife the beautiful things of Big Sur, Monterey, SF, the wine country by balloon, and Lake Tahoe. We had the time of our lives. I would go back, but not to the urban areas that I used to like. I’d like to show her the Pinnacles, Sequoia, and Yosemite.
