This admission will get me slammed by some Freepers but I have a very negative opinion of all tattoos...on men and women. I do recognize that there are guys who got tats when they were 19 and just out of recruit training at Benning...Lackland...Parris Island...or Great Lakes. Those tats I can almost understand and accept (I almost did it myself in 1969...but didn't).
Any other tattoos on men...or women...trouble me greatly.
I had a friend who was Polynesian. His tatts were there for cultural reasons. He had one that stood for family, one for clan and one for tribe. Those I understood. When he got his graduate degree in EE I jokingly asked if he was going to get the diploma tattooed on himself. He laughed and said if I did that, I can’t hang it on the wall.
