I was in B of A for decades. But when I moved to Spokane 15 years ago, a new neighbor suggested that I go to a local bank instead, and I found there was less hassle there, shorter lines, etc.
Banner Bank has 17 branches, all in the state of WA. The tellers know me by name, and vice versa. Close enough to walk to on a pleasant day. I’d never go back to a big bank.
China is a Potemkin state. See: unpopulated entire cities they “built” like a stage set. And they are in demographic disintegration within their country, nevermind elsewhere. Just as Japan is facing.
