When they announced it, I was aghast, no need to mess with perfection. I heard many good things about it, and actually bought it for my Apple TV when it first came out.
I have not yet been able to bring myself to watch it.
I know what you mean. I was fully expecting it to be a dud but was pleasantly surprised.
