True. We had Ivan before they ever knew we were close. It was the only time they could shut Ron and Dylan down. I enjoyed Ivan being close. I hated Dylan’s singing, I liked the songs. “Only A Hobo” done by the Johnson Mountain Boys is a favorite of mine. Granddad hobo’d on the rails during the depression. His oldest boy died up in WA from the flu while they were riding the rails. Most people are gone that have memories like that but it happened. The boat wasn’t hard for a kid that was 23 and bullet proof back then. Now, I’m too old to run but I’ll fight and die on my little patch of the US. I earned it and I damn well will make it count.
