This reminds me of the story about the woman that had her $30k ring stolen in a hotel......sometimes it just not wise to flash expensive things in the wrong place.

I saw one of those Bentley SUVs at my local Walmart a while back......my first thought was why drive something so expensive to a place like that?

A lot of family on my mother’s side were very wealthy. They dressed based on whatever was on sale at the K-Mart blue light specials. They drove beater cars. They lived in very nice, upper middle-class homes.

I’m in an antique car club. It’s not unusual for some of the members to have ten to thirty cars. They either currently own operating businesses or they’re retired. From the way they dress and what they daily drive you’d be hard pressed to separate them from the average Joe walking through Walmart. (Except for zero visible tattoos.)

The people who show off their wealth, probably have the swag, but it’s mortgaged to the hilt.

A local doctor's wife where I live drove a new Bentley Continental convertible in what I would call a pick-up/SUV town (second wife...young, beautiful). I thought, "What's wrong with this picture?"

The doctor is now in prison for selling over-the-counter drugs in great quantities.
