Mendacity and Corruption in the Judiciary
American Thinker ^ | 17 Mar, 2024 | Clarice Feldman

Something is seriously wrong with American law schools and the disciplinary outfits that are supposed to monitor corrupt conduct of practitioners. You can see the effects of this degradation in the outrageous behavior of government prosecutors and in the judiciary, which ignores its responsibility to decide fairly and without bias. We are churning out dishonest, corrupt lawyers and judges who are more than willing to look the other way at such behavior, condoning the most obvious selective partisan prosecutions. As the awareness of the failure of the judicial system grows, the consequences will be enormous -- respect for the traditional way of resolving disputes and obeying the law are fundamental aspects of a civilized, prosperous nation. Once that is lost, other less tenable means will be employed.

The focus this week was on the absurd case in Georgia, where D.A. Fani Willis is criminalizing Donald Trump’s challenge to the integrity of Georgia’s presidential election in 2020.

In the hearings, we learned of the prosecutor’s illicit affair with someone she then hired for almost three-quarters of a million dollars, a man whom evidence indicated committed perjury in his divorce case. Worse, both Willis and Wade appeared to commit perjury about when their affair began. (Something the judge elided in a too-facile stroke.) The defense argued that the prosecutors must be removed for conflict of interest. Judge McAfee that is hearing the case once worked for Willis, and both he and his wife contributed to her campaign for the office of district attorney. On Friday he issued his decision in the case (days after his own previously uncontested reelection bid suddenly was opposed).

In relevant part he ordered:

An outsider could reasonably think that the District Attorney is not exercising her independent professional judgment totally free of any compromising influences.

An outsider would still think this is a communist show trial. Marxism has completed the long march through the institutions.

After several generations of Leftist entrenchment in the law schools, we now have the world’s smartest and best-educated crooked judges and lawyers.

We have 1.3 million lawyers in the USA. Morality, which is theologic, and ethics, which is a legal principle, are lost on most of them and on our law schools. Both lawyers and law schools are only in it for the money == and the power.

Government by Judiciary

A big problem. A worthwhile book.

I can attest there aren’t many conservative attorneys, and there is a price to pay for being one. I don’t understand it because being a leftist is not logical or rational. But there it is.

There are many honest and well-intentioned lawyers. In an era of unbridled Leftist indoctrination though, they do not control the profession.

Absolutely! Ms. Feldman has a firm grasp of the obvious!

Too many lawyers and judges are no longer FRiendly to nor supportive of The Law or The US Constitution!

They have drunk the LIEberal Kool-Aide, which, apparently, destroys their ability to use Reason, Logic and Common Sense in pursuit of “Liberty and Justice for All!”

And, We the People suffer mightily!

Gonna fix all that on November 5!

MAGA!

I am beginning to think that the oath I took as a military officer that guided me with honor and integrity on a daily basis was merely a fantasy required by others with the same fantasy.

I am a long-time OathKeeper, having taken that Oath for the first of many times in March, 1963, and have been living it ever since!

With each change of status (USNR to USN and back to USNR) and each promotion (AOC to O-6), I was privileged to re-affirm my allegiance to the US and the Constitution.

That We the People are being sold down the river by a group of despicable, dishonest, dishonorable people (supported by their many LIEberal Kool-Aide drinkers) who completely trash and ignore The Oath they took absolutely angers me to the MAX!

Somehow, someway, We Must Take America Back!

America First!

MAGA!
