I don't believe Trump "intends" to become a pauper, but I'm certain he is "willing" to take some huge losses, as he already has shown. Just putting his business on hold to be President must have cost a lot.

Can Trump’s attorney convince an upper court that there is a good chance of overturning the case on appeal and that if his assets are taken now, he has little to no chance of getting them back once he wins the case?
