***Also to the point: When the Israelites allowed some of the peoples of those cities live, God cursed them***

Like the Amalekites... Samuel gave Saul God's message: eliminate them entirely, including their wealth and their livestock. Saul's disobedience ruined his kingship and cost him his family.

Haman in the Book of Esther was an Amalekite; he tried to exterminate the Jews. Some ethnic problem there...🤔

Haman in the Book of Esther was an Amalekite; he tried to exterminate the Jews.

Haman's linage, like Amalek could be traced to back to Esau and the Edomites:

And these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in mount Seir:

10 These are the names of Esau's sons; Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Bashemath the wife of Esau.

11 And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.

12 And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau's son; and she bare to Eliphaz Amalek: these were the sons of Adah Esau's wife.

"Haman was called an Agagite meaning that he descended from the very same King Agag, who Saul was supposed to dispatch". Quoted from The Prophecy Watcher, 03.2024.

After these things did king Ahasuerus promote Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him, and set his seat above all the princes that were with him.

The modern day Edomites are in full force after Oct 7, 2013.

Specifically, The Book of Esther says that Haman was an Agagite, meaning he was a direct descendent of the King Agag that Saul allowed to live. That mistake led to the destruction of his kingdom.

Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, he has also rejected you from being king.”

I Samuel 15:23 (ESV)

And Samuel did not see Saul again until the day of his death, but Samuel grieved over Saul. And the Lord regretted that he had made Saul king over Israel.

I Samuel 15:35 (ESV)
