As I mentioned earlier, there is only one road into the community from US #1 and it has always been a bit isolated. The beach is private and there are safeguards to keep city beach combers from invading. The only business that I know of in Jerusalem is Skip's Dock, although at the small bridge leading in on Succotash Rd there are a couple of modest eateries.
When my wife bought there you could only buy the house; the land was a dissolved family estate under legal hassles. That has all been settled and obviously what you are really purchasing for your investment is the land, not these little 400 square feet single storey beach shanties.
BUT the 'little beach shanty' provided many years of wonderful summer fun for families and children.
Enough of a slide for a not really sales pitch (I don't make nuttin off of its sale.) I found a map of Succotash Rd to help clarify what I am talking about. I will see what the family decides later in April.
