I would tell my brother the same, but we have not spoken since he went ballistic, screaming at me when I told him about the spike shedding, to “Get the f*** out of my house if you are so worried about it!” Done.

If he was truly confident about his decision, he wouldn’t be so testy with you. He’s seems very defensive and unsure of the correctness of his position. Your presence may be a constant reminder of his uncertainty, at best, and his awareness of his mistake, at worst. Maybe his wife was a true believer and demanded he get the jab and, if he ever wanted to have sex again, he had to. He wouldn’t be able to admit that so he’s displacing his anger onto you. The variety of reasons people got vaccinated are very complicated.
While the reason why most of our family/ies avoided those vaccines was relatively simple:
Lack of faith/trust.

For my brother, I think it was a combination of her insistence (because, you know, NPR said it was “safe and effective”) and his company requiring it. (My company required it too, but I refused and got an exemption.)
As a result, he has been suffering nerve pain in his legs and back, is in constant pain and at times has had to use a walker, and according to my mother, has had some sort of personality change, which is possibly due to the unrelenting pain.
