Wars are won or lost as God wills, not as demanded or commanded by someone, nor as we ourselves wish. You have taught the same or similar.
Prayer and fasting, Jesus the Christ said. And still, all outcomes really belong only to the will of God. Commands to promote a one note choir on any other way are ridiculous and child’s play.
