A mom of two is catching heat after posting a TikTok bristling at another family's screaming children as she tried to enjoy some downtime eating pizza at a Costco.

'This is why when you go to Costco, you leave the kids with dad and come by yourself,' mom, Tori, who goes by @thatmomtori ok TikTok, whispered into her phone.

'You don't come to Costco as a family when kids scream. Leave them home with dad,' she continued under her breath.

Via text overlay, she added: 'I will never understand why families bring kids who do nothing but scream to Costco, or any shopping experience.

Wife and I went out to dinner many years ago with our 1st daughter who was maybe 2. She threw a fit and started screaming. I got up, picked her up and went outside and came back about 15 minutes later without her and the wife and I enjoyed dinner. Not sure what everyone else thought but I had dropped her off at her grandma’s house which was close by!!!

Going to the free samples at Costco is the weekly highlight for some families and the only family time they share.Ours was like the United Nationson a Friday Night. No thanks.

She has children. She’s not anti-children. She’s anti- screaming children and the parents that allow them to do so.

I, too, hate other people's womb gremlins in public. Occasionally one sees children that have been whipped into shape, but it is rare.

Exactly how good are the free samples at COSTCO that people swamp to the store for them? I went to the store once with my friends and was not impressed, so I never joined.

As a mom, I knew kids didn’t enjoy shopping and I didn’t drag my kids along.

This happened to us when our kids were young. They had one tantrum while we were shopping and my wife and I came to the conclusion that if our children misbehaved we threatened to take them furniture shopping. They never misbehaved after that.

way too many kids misbehave and the parents ignore them. or the kids have an issue and we all have to suffer.
While i do believe not every space is for kids, sometimes you have to bring the littles to the grocery and hope for the best.
I don’t understand the entire families who have to go shop, one of the parents could have stayed home with the littles and streamlined the process.
I am pro child free weddings if the bride/groom want it that way.

Lady, if you don't want kids ruining your COSTCO Pizza, you should buy a pizza from an adult restaurant.

That said, parents should still discipline their kids, but I know my ex sister in law's sister is one of these non disciplined parent and her son is screwed up...and in drug rehab for the 4th time.

When we were that age our parents would not have tolerated
this and would have been embarrassed if we had meltdowns in
a store or restaurant.

When I used to go on big grocery shopping trips I’d go in the middle of the night to avoid all the others. I wish stores would stay open again all night.

It has been a long time since I have seen a black family—father, mother and kids—at a public place.

“Dad” seems to have mysteriously disappeared.

UK Mail shows pics and all. Of four young moms battling it out remotely via Tik Tok. Kinda funny and ridiculous.

All moms participating are decent looking or better

Sweet Tomatoes was a great buffet that was done in by the C19 panic. It was family friendly with children running around. This never bothered me. It was funny seeing them try to serve themselves at the buffet. There were different levels of competence.

Free is Free to some people. They love free stuff. The samples are nothing much but it does draw a crowd of takers.

Costco is a fustercluck unless you go when they open or just before they close. There is a cost to pay for low prices.

I forgot about the drug factor in all of this. When I’m out I see the parents on their cell phones and ignoring the kids this usually leads to them not disciplining the kids.

Yes children hate shopping and they also hate weddings. Plus like you said parents these days ignore their kids and let them behave badly at both the store and weddings.

What is worse is when I see small children behaving badly say at a wedding and people laugh at it. It’s not funny. The family paid a lot of money for that “special day” and some of these little darlings have caused expensive damage.

I do believe she has a point, especially if kids are not tought how to behave.

Just like the South Asians that turn our local Walmart into a Mumbai street festival.

i also find that parents take their kids out when they should be napping- a meltdown could be expected if the kids not getting enough rest.
Oh well my kids are in their 40’s now so any meltdown is on them.
