Everything done by politicians passes through a political “filter”. Doing the right thing is often difficult, but it’s always the right thing to do. Where politicians are concerned, doing “the right thing “ usually means what’s best politically for the people involved. Georgians need to be bending the ears of their elected officials about upholding their oath of office, not covering somebody’s ass.
