This is starting to seem more like a coordinated campaign of coverage about anything and everything that can be twisted into negative nonsense about Boeing. Airplane flights are canceled, delayed or diverted every day because of maintenance issues. This is especially true on decades old aircraft that have flown who knows how many millions of miles without any mishaps.
Yes, very possible. Even for folks (myself included) whose ears are constantly alert for media propaganda and spin, it shows how effective hyped and exaggerated headlines can be, particularly for issues one is not studying closely.
Normally I’d agree with your comment, but with the whistleblower’s alleged suicide midstream in giving evidence in a whistleblower lawsuit against the company that he brought, I tend to doubt that story. I believe I heard Boeing stock value dropped three billion dollars after the suicide story broke. So I think a lot of people and money is very skeptical of that story.
