My opinion, again, for the benefit of other readers -
As usual, this Ukraine MOD report is a mixed bag.
The Russian casualty count/estimate cant be trusted, for the same reason that US Vietnam body counts were substantially off, and were savagely criticized even by the best of later historians like Lewis Sorley.
The vehicle and equipment counts are, in large part these days, backed by drone video. Not all of it by any means. The correct figure is probably somewhere between Oryx and the MOD. Oryx themselves says that not all losses are going to be filmed, so their figure should be taken as a minimum, a baseline.
In some cases the Uke MOD is very accurate, especially in re planes and ships. They dont seem to overclaim.
