The immunity generated from an infection was found to be “at least as high, if not higher” than that provided by two doses of an mRNA vaccine.
And the whole "reduce severity" is totally anecdotal.

You’re overlooking the fact that the only way to acquire natural immunity requires risking severe illness and death through a covid infection.
