Indeed, what a legacy he leaves behind. Even though it wouldn’t have been intentional, Dragon Ball Z was essentially a conservative anime, in the sense that it celebrated the nuclear family through and through.

Throughout all the years you have all these characters who meet, become enemies, fight each other, eventually become friends, marry one another and have children. When you watch the movie battle of the Gods there is something wholesome about all these former enemies getting together with their own families for Bulma’s Birthday party.

I like anime because it is mostly family friendly, without having too much to worry about.
