Don’t understand. With his money he could hire a woman to be his companion. It would be far cheaper.
I don’t get it. If I was rich I’d just have a different 18-24 year old everyday…
I understand if one wants to start a family it’s different.
Yeah well it’s his life and his money. I don’t want to judge too much. I think it’s odd but he probably already has all the in-home help he could want - butlers, chefs, cleaning crew, secretaries, assistants maybe even doctors and nurses. He could burn $1 million a day and never miss it. And he probably has plenty to do with work, kids, grandkids etc, meetings, dinners, politics, some friends, you name it. So he doesn’t need to hire companionship per se. Maybe he just has a thing for family life. Some type of intimacy - not necessarily sex, just knowing that when it gets dark and the work is done and the party is over… someone there with you.
Something is in it for her and it’s wrong to think it’s just cash. She obviously knows what she’s getting into, how many years does he have left to give? Good years and bad? And I’m sure the money is all safe. I’m sure the lawyers have it all worked out and in almost every case the assets you bring into a marriage you get to take out as long as you keep it separate. He knows that. She knows that. So as for finances, sure… there’s probably a transaction there but I wouldn’t assume it’s just all transactional.
