People have been migrating around the world since the ice ages.
Maybe, if it keeps getting warmer we all will move north to Edmonton, Calgary and Labrador. All the decendents of the people on Martha’s Vineyard will be fighting over Ocean Front property on Greenland and Newfoundland.
The last ice age ended just 10,000 years ago. People were migrating around the world long before that. The fossil record seems to indicate that Homo sapiens were found first in Africa. Australia was inhabited by people 48,000–50,000 years ago. People had already found their way to North America between 16,000 and 25,000 years ago... some think even before that. South America seems to have been inhabited between 12,000 to 14,000 years ago.
It is interesting that even from times where forms of written communication already existed that there is still confusion about the history of populated areas. The Greeks began expanding their influence approximately 750 BC. Alexander the Great was born approximately 365 BC, Cleopatra was born approximately 69 BC, the Roman Empire existed between 31 BC – AD 476 and Genghis Khan was born approximately AD 1167.
How little will future generations remember about our civilization? We now appear to be in rapid decline by many historic measures. "Climate Change" is the least of our worries.
