I can’t say it’s ALL in the genes but that’s the foundation, be it sturdy or shaky, particularly for resistance to gneric disease. Most people are born near average on the baseline healthy scale...after that, who knows.

Weight: Inhaling junk food & sugar on the sofa with your phone is going to make most anyone pork up.

Metamorphasis: The scrawny kid in the old comic book ads getting sand kicked in his face at the beach by the bully can buy & lift weights all he wants but 9 out of 10 are still going to remain mostly scrawny.

Charles Atlas course…

I certainly don’t argue against genetics being most important.
Nutrition is two. Exercise and lifestyle trailing…

“They” talk about 3 body types of endomorphs, mesomorphs, and ectomorphs.
(Fat, muscular, skinny) I think it’s essentially a gray area of anything in between the three.
I’m mostly ecto with some meso. I’ve been playing sports consistently since age five, and lifting since 14. My stable, healthy build is 6’2” 195.
I’m at 210 now and I’m coming down to 195.
I eat mostly Paleo and I level out at 195-200.
