1. The stated data are for April 22. The sanctions on Russia had only just begun at that point. Their GDP is expected to continue to go down, according to my reading.
2. The International Monetary Fund is like any other “International” organization. Namely, they are radical in ALL political directions (far left, far right, Muslim, Jewish, Communist and so on) and therefore their data are woefully suspect.
3. Communist countries, like China, are reliably prone to lying about their data in order to maintain some degree of tranquility/stability in their country.
Bottom line is that while I appreciate your valid observations I no longer have any confidence in ANY “International” organization. Nor do I have much confidence in a marxist led American Executive Branch.
