Are saying that those Jewish history books we studied in religious school were fraudulent? That Catholics and protestants were not at war with each other in Europe? That the crusaders didn’t murder Jews on the way to OUR Holy Land? That Jews were not expelled from England, France and Spain?

Your claim is that for centuries, Christians were trying to eliminate Jews. Expulsions and religious wars and persecution are less than that. Or, to put it another way, Jews who were expelled from Nazi Germany were relatively lucky compared to those who were put into extermination camps. At first, even Jews found the Holocaust so monstrous as to be beyond belief.

And, if you insist on putting history and factual distinctions into a blender for false rhetorical points against Christians, be prepared to deal with a similar tactic and to have to refute Palestinian claims that they are victims of Jewish persecution, from the Old Testament to today.

On a personal note, I and my family are staunch Catholics with close Jewish friends.
