There’s an episode of Twilight Zone where an old man and his dog dies and they approach the Gates..
The Greeter tells him he can’t bring his dog in - the old man then refuses to enter “Heaven”.
He walks down aways and comes to another Gate - The Greeter there says,
“Well, good thing you didn’t go in there!
That’s Hell, and the devil is trying to get you in there”! (there’s no dogs or love or pleasure in Hell...)
The old man and his dog enter happy Heaven together.
I remember that episode well — it was one of my all-time favorites! Thanks for bringing back that memory. :-)
