Trump does not have a PhD or MD, so he did what presidents do: get expert advice. Too bad he didn't recognize that the entire medical establishment was wrong about this. And once Omicron hit, the boosters were not needed, nor were they needed for younger people. That part happened under Biden...
And although omicron covid is no worse than the flu, the original Covid did kill a lot of people. And a lot of commenters forgot that part. And yes the vaccine probably saved a lot of lives.
Ironically, the Philippines were offered the mRNA vaccine in January, but the Dept of Health just didn't get around to do the paperwork, because Pfizer had a “no liability” clause, and after our Dengue vaccine debacle, the DOH refused to allow a vaccine that might later be known to cause harm but no one could sue over it.
so we didn't get it for another nine months (I got the AZ, which was known to cause blood clots so here it was only given to high risk elders, where the risk of death was high, and our younger staff got the Chinese vax, which was known not to give much protection).
Ignore the statistics: A lot of countries have lower rates of Covid and lower death rates because they didn't test people, or old folks died at home and were never diagnosed as having covid.
I did my research. The original covid killed people who had co-morbidities mostly, and of course those treated with remdesivir and intubation.
Even the CDC admitted, I read it and sadly no screen shot, because they removed it, that only 6% of those who died of covid actually died of covid by itself. All the rest had serious co-morbities. I had covid 3x and it was minor, and I am not young, have asthma and some other health issues.
And of course, if people had been allowed ivermectin and/or hydroxychloroquine, even fewer would have died.
And none of the vaccines prevented covid at all, and have caused many deaths. THe vax did nothing to save lives. Naomi WOlf and team went through all the Pfizer docs, for months. I am surprised you are so ignorant of the truth.

Any town doc knew better, or should have known that NO treatment at all, until you were first turning blue at home and to open a window for ventilation before troubling the doctor, was a sure issuance recipe for a coroner.

The great crime was not treating Covid Early enough, with the alternatives, nor prescribing high enough dosage, nor administering it long enough. Alternative treatments were set up to fail, according to alternative doctors.
The medical PUSH to deny the teeny few heroic docs any platform, using universal cat calls and smears against them for doing trials with HCQ and EARLY TREATMENT, followed soon by Ivermectin and EARLY TREATMENT, then ZINC, etc.
One little ole African country had not one Covid death using HCQ for treating symptoms early— aka, normal protocols. Surely, that was an anomaly, but that was their rank at the time.
Few trust their own doctor anymore. Actually, No one does that I know. I suppose the Vaxed must.

THAT is what people can't wrap their heads around -- the putrid EVIL that launched COVID onto the world, with the INTENT to scare them into taking the poison jabs, with the INTENT of slaughtering 6.5 or 7 Billion people of the world.
THAT is the same Normalcy Bias that allowed millions of Jews to shuffle onto the trains to be taken to certain death.
People cannot fathom that our governments, our medical professionals, our industry leaders, etc., could be such PUTRID EVIL.
