I’m pretty much down to writing Mitch’s SIL drowning to industrial grade iggorance with maybe some panic thrown in. Batteries don’t quit working just because they land in fresh water. DC electric motors will run underwater. Lights still work. How many pics have you seen with cars underwater and their headlights are still on? And how many pics have you seen with EV wrecks catching fire and the fire guys can’t even put them out until the battery runs down?
At some point she knew she was in water. She couldn’t hit reverse or whatever the other direction should have been? She wasn’t in enough water to keep her cell phone from working and all she could think of to do was call her drunkass Harveys, who also couldn’t tell her to open a freeping window?
From what I see locally, nearly daily, it might have been cellphonicide: Gets in the car, cranks up the phone, and has no bleeping idea what to do next? One commie down——one billion to go. Give ‘em all cellphones and Teslas.
Q
Give ‘em all cellphones and Teslas.
Love it !
Re Mitch’sSIL:
Yes. And the tow truck drivers who were afraid to attach the chains need some education on batteries.
She called friends instead of 911. The police took 20 mins to get to the scene.
