MONROE COUNTY, Ga. — New information has been released in connection to the arrest of a woman who officials say tried to kidnap a child at a Georgia state park.
Last week, Kara Christopher was arrested and charged with the attempted kidnapping of a child inside High Falls State Park.
In an incident report obtained by Channel 2 Action News, on Feb. 19 at 5 p.m., deputies recieved reports of the attempted abduction inside the park.
When deputies arrived, they were met by a mother and her friend who said they were on a hike with her young daughter when a strange woman, later identified as Christopher, ran up, grabbed the child and tried to run away.
The report said the two women fought Christopher and got the child back. Christopher was then seen getting into a grey Honda CRV and driving away.

Normally, that, of course, would establish it.
But from the general PC usage in the prose, I didn't think I could be sure that both of the "women" fighting off the kidnapper were in fact women.
Victim blame much? You don’t have to be married to take a walk in a State Park with your child. You sound like somebody from Iran or something.
Nevertheless, kimosabe (or whatever the Persians say), my statement is true. I'm not saying such a park stroll with those personnel is directly immoral. It's that 99.99 percent of the time, people don't do it whose kid-marriage-etc. situation is normal, i.e., moral. You almost never see it. I'd guess it's because in the wild you're alone against possible danger (animal or human). In the real world, that makes the woman in the threesome more dependent on, and in the power and discretion of, the adult male.
A woman who's got a husband or an available male relative will strongly tend to choose one of them for a trek like that, for her own social ease and safety.
