Baseball is largely a white and Hispanic sport. It is surprising that they rank as more “woke: than the NFL. It seems that there were more black Americans in MLB 30-40 years ago than there is now.
It’s due to the leadership of Robert D. Manfred, Jr. Remember, he pulled the all star game out of Atlanta? I prefer Roger Goodell even though he wasn’t firm enough on the anthem protests. But I understand. He was afraid to “rock the boat” and his goal was to survive.
Young black athletes gravitate much more to football and basketball than baseball in these times. For whatever reasons...

MLB put large letters BLM on the back of the mounds. They also took a knee. Teams like the dodgers honored drag queen nuns in spite of complaints by various catholics and organizations. No thanx.
