The writer is partially correct election rules need to be severely reformed but until you win elections it’s hard to pass reform laws when you don’t win elections
The solution is do what you have to do in order to win elections and then tighten the rules

This is true but good luck doing it. The rigging rules are baked in now and damn near impossible to roll back. We are stuck with this mess and have to find a way to beat the bastards with the rules they have enacted.
Doesn’t matter. Judges, weak governors and crooked secretaries of state. (GA gov Kemp and SOS Ratbiy) just change the laws while their state legislatures sat on their hands in GA, WI. PA etc.
New laws won’t help.
