You know how to tell you are living in a communist state? Everything is against the law. We now live in a society that almost everything is some kind of infraction.
I read something a while back that at any given time, any US Citizen is in violation of an average of five federal or state statutes.
Under normal circumstances, that would be bad, but not likely to come to anything.
We do not live in normal circumstances.
With what we have seen with J6 Protesters, Donald Trump, and all of his associates, it is clear that those five federal or state statutes present a significant danger to our freedom.
They can put pressure on you to forego the practice of your 1st Amendment rights, and can use those violated statutes (that the average citizen has ‘violated’ up to five of, on average) to remove your 2nd Amendment rights.
Or, where that will take us, in the words of Lavrentiy Beria: “You bring me the man, I’ll find you the crime.”
