A way around the pronoun nonsense is to continuously use the person’s name. People can change their names, even if it just a preferred one, but not their sex.
Overuse of pronouns can cause confusion anyway.

In recent days, the stock market has been hovering near all-time record highs and business leaders have been assuring us that good days are ahead. But meanwhile many of our most famous billionaires have been doing things that indicate that they are extremely concerned about what is coming in the future. If these men believe that the U.S. economy is going to thrive and their companies will continue to grow, it would make sense to just sit back and let their portfolios increase in value.

But instead they have all determined that this is a perfect time to sell.
