Sweet story!! in many ways. I love how these little hive and colony animals take care of each other.
That must be what it’s like to come from a normal family!

When( not if) TSHTF are you ready??? Significant food stash, meds/first aid supply, access to water, access to wood for cooking. Sufficient means for warmth in winter?
With EMP you’ll have no power, no use of vehicles, no communication, no money/banking access.
Just a couple important things
If you have a large or even modest stash, don’t tell people. If things get heavy you do not want people coming to take what provisions you have. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT
RESEARCH a basic stash needed. I once had 3 years. Now only about 4-6 months.
Water source. Very important. If you have a well but no power to drive the pump, what’s next?
Generators are great but how much fuel do you have to supply them?
At Cottons thread is good info She has posted at top of thread Arizona_Grannys thread archives with a tremendous wealth of information.
Warmth - living in mild climate helps. A sleeping bag rated -20 is good. Wood stoves in home👍. Good water n food to use w/o refrigeration. Seeds for planting your fresh produce
Supply of meds, vitamins scripts EO first aid
Communication…all you have now will be gone. Ham radios Snd smoke signals the “new” method?
All this to get you thinking
And trust me most of your kids and grands will roll their eyes and think you crazy if you bring this up
Old adage- can take a horse to water….
