As someone who was there, 50 years ago, in NYC, though yes, there was some crime and a few crazy people ( not many ) roaming certain neighborhoods, nobody was being shoved onto the tracks, nor stabbed in the subway system nor on buses.

No department stores were being continually looted by gangs!

You could be in Times Square and NOT be assaulted, stabbed, nor shot!

There were NO "protesters" shutting down traffic, going into museums/trying to get into museums to cause harm!

Jews were not being attacked willy nilly on college campuses, on the street, etc.!

Then we moved to Chicago. And the same was true there! And in neither city were people living on the streets, in the parks, going to elite neighborhoods and robbing and worse!

I could go one, point by point; however I chose to just give some highlights! Unlike Biden, my memory is still superior and I was an eyewitness to what I've posted.
