Shocking body camera footage has shown the moment Ohio police found an emaciated 3-year-old girl inside a filthy, cockroach-infested apartment.
Fairborn police were called to the apartment complex on January 8 on a report that a young child was struggling to breath, reported the Dayton Daily News.
When officers entered the building, one could be heard gasping 'Oh my God' as they waded through the garbage infested home, according to body camera footage obtained by Law&Crime.
As they entered the child's bedroom, they found her unresponsive huddled in the corner of the room next to a soiled mattress covered in bug bites and said she weighed about 16 pounds.
The girls mother, 25-year-old Rabyah Nadhirah Muballigh, has been charged with endangering a child and felonious assault. According to police, Muballigh made the original 911 call and said: 'There's a child at 308 Wallace that is currently having trouble breathing and she needs to go to a hospital as soon as possible.'
At first police thought the 3-year-old was dead, but can be heard saying: 'Oh she's still breathing, she's still breathing, let's go, let's go.'
The officers tore down blankets being used as curtains to get more light into the room as the checked on the girl.
'Inside they located a small child that was conscious but not alert and was immediately taken by Fairborn medics and transported to a local hospital,' police said.
The girl's bedroom was littered with bottles, sticky fly traps and the mattress was covered in urine and feces. At one point, a cockroach is seen running across the wall in the horrific bodycam footage.

Thanks, thank God they found the child, I hope it was in time.
Happened in early January. The child reportedly has a long way to go but is gaining weight.
That is one of the hardest things my son has to deal with as an officer is when he encounters situations like this.
A few months ago he got a call about two kids running through the streets screaming they are trying to kill us. Two girls eight and eleven had gone to visit their big sister and walked in and found an absolute sewer and were scared of the older sisters boyfriend. Their older sister, fourteen and her boyfriend twenty-one were allegedly trying to kill them and they ran out of the house. They went to the house and couldn’t find anyone home. So they took the two girls to a grandmothers house.
The next day my son and another officer went to the house and knocked on the door and the fourteen year old opened it and the house was filthy and they began questioning her and asked where her boyfriend was? In the bathroom she said and my son found him with an eighteen month old who was the boyfriends child from another relationship. My son could clearly tell the boy had been or was about to be abused again from the situation. It was all he could do not to beat this guys brains out. All the guy said was is this just a misdemeanor, will I be out quickly? My son said your going away on multiple felonies for a long time as he pushed the scum against the wall and cuffed him.
When they went to put him in the car and the fourteen year old went insane and started fighting them, they had to cuff her as well. They took the toddler to the hospital and he had been horrible sexually and physically abused. Very disturbing.
meth?! what’s she ingesting it with, Twinkies? No meth.
She needs the ELECTRIC CHAIR!!
OMG!!!! I would BET these are ILLEGALS or MUSLIMS!
malnourished like that, the child will probably be disabled physically and mentally
The US is rapidly becoming a third world hellhole.
Thanks, democrats.
Place the mother in a cage that is infested with rats that have been starved for a few days and let them dole out her punishment.
It’s right outside of Wright Patterson AFB. Montgomery county., Ohio
A very worthwhile read.
